I recently bought a Thinkware F800 Pro dashcam, and the entertainment value has made it worth every penny.
Understand that I primarily bought it because of a recent string of auto insurance fraud attempts near where I live. Dashcams are a great way to protect you from such hooliganism.
But they also catch drivers doing questionable maneuvers, drivers who think they’re more important than anyone else, or even a daredevil pedestrian who doesn’t know what a crosswalk is.
THEREFORE, I PRESENT TO YOU THE FIRST EDITION OF… NASHVILLE’S FINEST DRIVERS!
(Objects in the dashcam are closer than they appear)
Let’s unpack that last one. Sir Jeep attempts to pass a car in the center (turning) lane, but since it’s on a hill he can’t accelerate enough to complete the pass. He then has to merge back over in shame once the center lane stops. All is well, right?
Wrong. He then aggressively passes multiple cars across a merging lane, then wiggles his way back into the queue.
But wait, there’s more! He finally scratches that center-lane-passing itch once he’s at the bottom of the hill and could get up speed.
This guy.
Thanks for watching. I’m sure this dashcam will provide plenty of entertainment in the future, and hopefully I only ever need it for entertainment.
